Eliazer is in the process of establishing a Children's Home, a Multi-Purpose Training Centre and a Women's Cooperative Society to supplement its activities for the Tsunami effected children and women in its project area.

Children's Home

Most of the Children in the Tsunami affected fishermen community in Nizampatnam have either lost their parents or become dependent on the fractured community for their nurturing. Lack of this nurturing and caring is forcing children to get exposed to the dark sides of life. In order to curb this children in this area require a secure place to live and cultivate good habits and to become good citizens in future. Eliazer planned to set up a Children's Home to groom them initially before they sent to government institutions for further education and training.

Multi-Purpose Training Centre

Women in this area are already organized into groups and provided some training in Stitching so that an immediate source of income is generated to carry on their lives. But this is purely remedial and Eliazer is planning to set up a Multi-Purpose Training Centre where in these firsherwomen are trained in varieties of areas related to fishermen community such as Repair of Fishing Nets, Food Processing, Solar-Dry-Fish Etc. to augment their household incomes to build better communities.

Women's Cooperative Society

A Women's Cooperative is always a necessity to get better and fair deals for the produts of these firsherwomen and thereby providing employment to surrounding communities to get involved in these empowerment programs. Eliazer belives that this exercise will help mainstream these fisherwomen for greater development.
